Food Allergies In Pets:

As common as they are with humans, our pets can have various food allergies. If you suspect that your pet might have a food allergy, please consult with your veterinarian prior to purchasing our products. All of our products are listed with every single ingredient in the description on this site. In addition if requested, we could fax or e-mail a copy of our ingredients to you. We are always capable to substitute different ingredients for your pet. For instance, a very common allergy in dogs is the “Wheat” allergy. If your dog is allergic to wheat, let us know and we can substitute the wheat with a different type of flour such as rice or soy flour for your pet.

Foods For All Dogs To Avoid:

-Chocolate, caffeine, processed sugar, onions and onion powder, alcoholic beverages, macadamia nuts, hops, grapes and raisins(including juice & wine), tomato foliage(leaves and stem), green peelings and sprouts from potatoes, rhubarb leaves, avocados, fruit pits and seeds, bitter almonds, fatty foods, and nutmeg.

We have taken into account the various foods and ingredients that dogs in general should not eat and have prepared our treats accordingly. However, if your pet does have a food allergy, it is your responsibility, as the owner of the pet, to make sure not to purchase any products that could be harmful to your pet. Each item listed on our site has the ingredients listed under the product description. If you are not sure if your pet has food allergies and are concerned that they might, then we suggest consulting with your veterinarian prior to purchasing any food or treats for your pet. Therefore, we at Sugar Pup Shop will not be held accountable for any ailments or allergic reactions that may occur after eating any of our treats.

Shipping/Returns

Sugar Pup Shop ships from Philadelphia, PA via UPS Ground. Shipping is pre paid and added to invoice. UPS does not deliver to Post Office Boxes. Treats may break during shipment. However, Sugar Pup Shop will not be held responsible. We have no control after treats leave our warehouse. If you receive damaged products please verify with the postal carrier. All prices are subject to change. Sugar Pup Shop allows no returns. Exchanges may be negotiated. Please email us for details.
